About Me!

My name is Michael J Bowman, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Home of Beyoncé, Wes Anderson, and many Whataburgers.

My dad was a doctor and my mom was a teacher.. Boring titles. More importantly my mom was a listener, and my dad was a storyteller. He always had something new to say. Everyday there was some new life event that he remembered from his past, or some story that lined up perfectly with the conversation at hand. He could talk for hours on the same story and I couldn’t help but listen, and not just because I was trapped in the car with him. His stories inspired me to tell my own stories. 

When I was young we had this camcorder, and my brother and I used to load up old VHS tapes, and make little stories ourselves. We would make these constantly until we ran out of tape or we got in trouble for taking the camcorder without permission, which we did often. My brother moved on with life, but I never did. I still love creating those stories, and creating characters whose stories deserve to be shared with the world, and I became an actor to do exactly that!
